A Mayor for Bristol
A Mayor for Bristol is the official organisation behind the Yes vote achieved on May 3rd. Following the win that was won by tireless volunteers on virtually no cash, we know see our purpose as being the engagement of the whole city on their aspirations for Bristol. By distilling these aspirations into a manifesto for Bristol, we aim to hold all mayoral candidates to account in delivering these ambitions. We are entirely independent. We do not endorse any party, nor campaign on any other topic.
We aim to publicise the November mayoral election for a Bristol elected mayor, the issues and the opportunities, among the general public, in the media, and at every level in business, academia and local government, because we think it’s important that Bristolians should know about this opportunity to vote on their own future.
A Mayor for Bristol’s volunteers are from all sorts of backgrounds and hold all sorts of opinions on other questions. They almost certainly include people much like you. Please support us.
